These armors will be disputed based on:

  • Cost
  • Debuffs
  • Weight
  • Armor type
  • Durability
  • Practicality (Why would someone use the armor).

S Tier

I put the Spartan B and the IND401 in S tier because they are very adaptable and flexible in multiple common situations. Both body armors protect the chest alongside the upper abdomen which is great. Both have amazing durability (over 50) and have great armor types that support long-lasting use.

Although the Spartan B is great, it is the most expensive armor among the stand alone body armors. Costing around 30,000 on the market, you will get your money’s worth due to its VERY minimal durability loss after repairs. The cost of the IND401 body armor is roughly 22,000! 8k lower than the Spartan B. With this, it has good bulletproof performance. With its aluminum armor type.

A Tier

In A Tier, lies the 6BL3, 6B13, and the Sentry 305.

I put these in A Tier due to their practicality and common usage.

All of these body armors are greater than, or equal to 50 durability which is great. The 6B13 and the Sentry 305 both are very cheap among their T4 competitors.

All of these armors have the Composite Armor type, which means that in the cost of bulletproof performance, they support long-lasting capabilities. Most players tend to wear composite materials as a “Quick armor” substitute without thinking too much; as most of them are on the cheaper side of the market.

The 6BL3 is what the 6B23 wants to be. Although it has a high weight, it has outstanding durability and amazing body coverage. Yet it has severe debuffs which makes this body armor a little bit situational. Nevertheless, a great go-to when you know you’ll take a couple more hits than usual.

B Tier

These body armors deserve to be in B tier either due to their very Moderate specs, or they are very Situational. These body armors I include the 6B23, SEK Fortress, PM-R, and the TM2.

The 6B23 is the “Tanky” armor you’d like to have if you’re going into several gunfights. It’s one of the only body armors that possesses the Hardened steel armor type (excluding faction) which has the BEST bulletproof performance, at the cost of all movement speed and weight. This makes this armor extremely situational (useful in Tv/armory/port) where you know you will take plenty of hits.

The SEK Fortress is the “movement armor” due to its minimal debuffs and Extremely light weight. Although it only covers the chest, it has a good armor type for long-term use and is moderate when it comes to cost. Most pros wear this armor when they know they’ll be running a lot (Northridge or Valley). Overall, very “Mid” armor.

The last two armors are Armored rigs. They both round to around 30,000 which is relatively pricey among T4 armors. Although they don’t excel in the weight and cost, they both have decent body coverage. The PM-R has the composite durability which may label this armor as a “Bad” armored rig, but its durability is great for its composite peers. It also has a ton of space. The TM2 on the other hand has the aluminum armor type which allows for better bulletproof performance. It has better debuffs compared to the PM-R and supports a 2×2 slot in the rig which is always a plus.

Regardless, both of these armors have great pluses! But there are bad characteristics which counter its pros. Thus, placing them in B tier.

C Tier

I’m not saying these armors are terrible and you shouldn’t use them. But with the “benefits” they offer, they are outclassed by previous armor types that place them in C tier. These armors include the TM1 and the AL Regulation armored rigs.

The TM1 offers moderate debuffs and the titanium durability which is great. It also covers the upper abdomen too. But its cost and weight are relatively high for what it provides. It has the worst durability for all the T4 body armors and for its cost, you would expect more bulletproof performance… Which you would not receive.

The AL Regulation on the other hand has great weight and good debuffs that come along with it. It covers the upper abdomen like the TM1 and has the aluminum armor type which is always a plus. But similar to the TM1, it has a lower average durability, and has an insanely high cost at about 34,000 which is bonkers. Can’t be long lasting if it doesn’t have the durability to BE long lasting, right? Overall, outclassed by my previous mentions. This is why you don’t see too many players running these armored rigs.

And that concludes my T4 body armor tier list! I hope this gave you some insight on what armors to bring into your raids.
