This guide is meant to guide new players in traversing the ever so tight corridors of tv station as they’re spawned in.

Guide to TV Station Spawns

By Shturman

Quick note!

Spawn might differ, like sometimes there would be none on costume room, while a squad would spawn on Interview room backstage. Therefore, I would highly suggest that you listen to footsteps early on, and decide which Move you’re gonna use based on those footstep info’s.

Backstage spawn

Now, this spawn would be considered a pretty versatile spawn, as it allows you to play both aggressively, defensively and passively.

If spawned here, you have about 6 book moves on which you’d want to play on.

Move 1

In this scenario, I highly suggest that you’d ignore everything, and rush immediately to the 2nd floor.

Why?

Well Timmies, it is suggested that you immediately rush the 2nd floor to contest recording studio and it’s surroundings.

Why contest recording studio?

By contesting the recording studio, it allows you to form a frontline where you’d take those who spawned from the stairs off guard.

Why would the stairs spawn be taken off guard?

Most if not all the time, those who spawned from the stairs would mistake your footsteps for bots, therefore lowering their guard. Not to mention, most if not all players who spawned on the stairs would immediately rush electrical room and this spot to start looting killed white wolf guards for BP ammo

They’d immediately rush here to start looting dead bots and crates.

And by taking advantage of their eagerness to loot, they’d end up being killed by you, who masked your running footsteps of that a bot.

Move 2

Now Move 2 is quite a risky maneuver, as you’re heavily relying on your aim, and your ability to surprise someone.

Why?

In this possibility, you’re hoping that none spawned in the interview room (backstage) allowing you to rush and loot the post production locked room.

Pros

  • A fast route to a locked room (Suggested if you have a 2×2 – 2×3 safe)

Cons

  • You’re risking yourself to be ambushed or trap

Ambushed

What do I mean by this?

There’s a high chance, that the interview room spawn might’ve taken a position inside of the post production, or on the backroom in itself.

How do we counter this?

There’s 2 ways of countering this.

Firstly

  • By simply choosing an alternate route.

Secondly

  • By nading them.

Nading

How can we nade the Interview Backroom spawn?

Fun fact! The interview black stage is actually an open top room, meaning you can just chuck nades directly into them!

The walls that I’ve marked red, are the part of the wall on which you can directly chuck nades into.

Risk

  • By chucking nades, you’re risking yourself for a rush from 2 spawns

What are those 2 spawns that you should watch out when chucking nades through interview room backroom?

Costume room spawn

By making a commission, you risk a flank maneuver from the costume room spawn, as illustrated here.

White wolf stair spawn

By causing such a commission with grenades, you also risk alerting those who spawns above, as illustrated here.

There’s a risk of them counter nading and shooting you from above.

Move 3

Now Move 3 would be a very defensive and specific move. It is usually when you start hearing footsteps from costume room spawn coming towards you, and so in this case you’d stand firm and defend yourself against a rush from them.

Do I suggest doing what’s shown in move 3?

Absolutely no! you’d do a better job, doing the other moves instead.

Move 4

Now Move 4 is very similar to Move 1 as you’re gambling to take your opponent off guard by masking your footstep of that by the bots, and taking this position as shown in map.

Why?

Scenario 1

Now most of the time, those who spawn in the costume room would often just start looting the available jackets in hope of getting a key.

And by taking advantage of that, you’re then to position yourself on which you’d be easily ambush them.

Scenario 2

It allows you to ambush those from the interview room backstage spawn, after they finished looting the post production office as illustrated here.

Pros

  • An early map presence capable of multiple ambush opportunities

Cons

  • If facing a much more experienced team, they might skip the looting part all together causing a brawl between your, and their group.

Move 5

Now Move 5 is similar to Move 4 in essence that you hope to catch the costume room spawn off guard.

  • But in reality, this is a pretty bad move, similar to Move 3
  • Therefore id highly suggest against doing this move
  • And just stick to Move 4

Move 6

Now, Move 6 is a very defensive move, that takes advantages of your enemies movement, as shown in the illustration, you’d want to position yourself along this blue square.

By doing so, you’re hoping to catch your enemies that spawns on the costume room very early on. Not only that, but it also allows you to catch players that have spawned on the white wolf stairs peeking, giving you a quick kill against them.

It also allows you to lock, or catch those who spawns in the interview room backstage, as show In the illustration.

Pros

  • It is a very versatile move, allowing you to catch multiple spawns off guard

Cons

  • It is very overloaded, and a similar scenario to Move 2 on which you’d ended up fighting multiple squads might happen.
