Backpack Brawl – How to Get Good Econ

Quick Tips on Getting Good Econ

There are a lot of Econ items in this game right now…

Know Your Hero!

The most important point of getting good Econ is knowing exactly when you win; this would be called game sense in this game. To get better at this, I recommend the following.

Before you start a match, think of your build: what are the strengths, what are the weaknesses, and how likely you are to win. When the outcome is not like you expected, start analyzing the game. That way, you get to know fast what you need to win in every game stage.

With this knowledge, you gain the following advantages:

  • Knowing where to spend your money best
  • Knowing when you have leftover money to invest in Econ for future rounds
  • Knowing when you most definitely will lose and what you need to change that (sometimes the items will be better later for that, and you can chill and sacrifice some rounds to get that stuff later)

And another thing that most people don’t really think about: you can know WHEN to take an item.

I mean by that, if you see, for example, that you really need a banana, but you see a skull and a poison orb to make an unholy sword in late game… Get that stuff when you need it later and not now when you would not win without the banana, and keep rolling. Don’t waste those 15 coins.

Different heroes are differently strong in different phases and patches, so it doesn’t make sense if I give detailed insight on each champ here.

Note: Don’t forget to press the shop button to see the rarity of the item you want to get, and also don’t forget lucky clovers exist.
