Starting Bloobs Adventure Idle
When you begin the game, you start near a bank and some trees. You can start playing right away. There are many things to do in the game. To learn the basics, use the ‘How to Play’ guide.
You start with basic tools. Put them in the right slots by clicking on them in your inventory. This frees up space in your backpack.
The bank chest is near where you start. It has two tabs and ten slots to store things. You can buy more storage space later.
Read the rest of the ‘How to Play’ guide, then close it.
There are many things you can do next. I’ll suggest some good starter activities and things to do overnight.
Here’s a list of equipment tiers, starting from the lowest:
- Bronze (Level 1)
- Iron (Level 5)
- Steel (Level 10)
- Mithril (Level 20)
- Adamantine (Level 30)
- Rune (Level 40)
- Orichalicite (Level 50)
- Necronium (Level unknown)
This list covers metal weapons, tools, and armor.
Starting the Game
To get better at the game, upgrade your tools quickly. Better tools help you gather resources faster. This gives you more experience and levels, which helps you gather even faster. The game guides show tools up to Tier 7.
Tip: If you want to play more actively, look for golden harvest chances. These give you more experience and extra resources.
To upgrade your tools, you need to gather resources and reach the right levels.
Start with mining. Mine Copper Ore (Level 1) and Tin Ore (Level 2). You can start mining by clicking on the resource icons in the skill guide.
Mix Copper and Tin to make bronze. Mine enough to reach level 10 in mining. This will unlock more mining options.
Take your copper and tin to the forge. You can find it through the Smithing skill menu. While your character is working, take a break.
Use the bronze bars to improve your Smithing skill. Make one piece of bronze armor for each slot, then a bronze weapon. Use the rest to make Bronze Arrow Tips.
Store the arrow tips in your bank chest for later.
Next, cut some wood for tool handles. Get 50-100 logs from normal trees. You’ll also need some Oak Logs for iron tools.
Mine 20 iron ores and make them into bars. Use these to make an iron pickaxe and axe.
Keep mining iron and making things to level up. When you reach level 20 in mining and smithing, you can start making steel. You’ll need iron and coal for this.
By now, you’re well on your way in the game.
Tool Upgrades
After getting steel tools, aim for mithril and better tools to work faster.
You might find broken pick heads and gems while mining. Keep one ancient pick and sell the rest. Use the money to buy bank spaces. Bank spaces cost 1000 gold each at first, then 5000 gold after 20 slots.
When you sleep, set your character to do something useful. Mining coal is good because you need it for steel, mithril, and adamant. Also, keep woodcutting to make tool handles.
Tip: Keep the ‘stones’ and ‘sticks’ you get while mining and woodcutting. You’ll need them later.
Keep going until you can make rune tools. You need level 42 Smithing, level 50 Mining, and level 40 Woodcutting for these.
Managing Your Stuff
As you get more skills, you’ll get more items. You can use extra logs for Firemaking. This gives you uncut gems and opens secret paths.
Keep uncut gems to craft later, or sell them if you need money.
Try to get 30 bank spaces. After that, they get more expensive.
Tip: If you have too much stuff, you can sell some to merchants for money to buy bank spaces. Don’t worry, it won’t slow you down much.
Foraging and Potion Making
Start practicing foraging. Your first goal is to get Meadow Cress, a useful herb. Collect about 1,500 Meadow Cress.
While foraging, you’ll also get Bloobberries and maybe worms. Keep these for later.
To make potions, you need containers. You can make these from glass. To make glass:
- Mine sandstone
- Turn sandstone into sand (need level 16 Crafting)
- Turn sand into glass
To get level 16 Crafting:
- Mine 801 clay
- Make wet clay
- Make 801 bowls
This will get you to level 30 Crafting.
Next, mine 1,000 sandstone. Turn it into glass at the crafting hut.
Make 500 vials and 500 flasks from the glass.
Fill these with water at the well. This will increase your Herbology level.
Now you’re ready to make potions! Use your herbs, vials, and other items at the cauldron.
Remember to upgrade your foraging lens at the smithy when you can.
Making Potions
- Make 500 Meadow Cress Vials and 500 Flasks
- Mix vials with sticks to make Timber Potions
- Mix flasks with stones to make Excavation Potions
This should get you to level 30 Herbology. These potions make your woodcutting and mining 25% faster.
Fishing
Start fishing by clicking on a fishing spot in the skill guide. At first, it’s slow. But if you fish actively for 15-30 minutes, you can get more fish and experience.
You might get messages in bottles and old scrolls. Sell these for gold. If you get fish bones, bury them for devotion experience.
Tip: You can bury bones while doing other tasks to save time.
Cook all the fish you caught. This gives you food for combat.
Getting Ready for Combat
- Make bronze armor if you haven’t already
- Get enough cooked fish to feel comfortable
- Start with fighting chickens
You’re doing this to get something that will help you use all those arrow tips you made earlier.
Getting Ready to Fight
If you’ve been following the guide, you should have good tools, cooked food, some bank slots, and arrow tips from smithing. If not, don’t worry. You can play however you like.
Starting Combat
Head to the bank chest and empty your inventory, leaving about 6 spaces open. Then go to the chicken coop just south and east of the bank. Click on a chicken to start fighting. Your character will keep fighting and collecting loot automatically, so you can let it run for a while.
Improving Your Combat Skills
Focus on getting your Attack skill to 20 first. Then work on Strength until it reaches 20. Finally, get your Defense to 20. If you have extra mithril bars, you can make a full set of mithril armor and a weapon. This will help you fight better.
Keep fighting chickens until you get enough feathers. You’ll use these feathers to make arrows with all the arrow tips you made earlier while smithing. This is why you’ve been saving those arrow tips.
I hope you found this useful!
