Blue Prince – Glitched Easy Day One Trophy + Trophy of Speed Guide

Glitched Easy Day One Trophy + Trophy of Speed (Speedrun) Guide

This method uses the “gliding glitch”. When you fall, opening the blueprint screen (usually the TAB key) makes your character move forward slightly before continuing to fall. If you open and close the blueprint screen repeatedly while falling, you can travel across large gaps.

Step 1: Setting Up

  • Start a new game file.
  • After the first cutscene, pick up the map.
  • Go through the left door and choose the Hallway room. This option is always available as the first room choice on Day 1.
  • Go to the end of the Hallway and choose any second room. It’s better not to pick the Parlor, as it can be tricky to move around when you are outside the map boundaries later.

Step 2: Getting Out of Bounds

  • After placing the two rooms, go back towards the starting area with the elevator (near the Blue Flames).
  • You will go down a small set of stairs on the way. This is where you’ll perform the glitch to get outside the map.
  • Start running (press ALT once).
  • Right as you step onto the first stair, jump and repeatedly press SPACE + R together. This opens the room directory while you’re in the air, allowing you to aim without falling straight down.
  • Next, rapidly press Right Click + SPACE + R over and over. Right-clicking closes the directory, while SPACE + R opens it again quickly. Done correctly, this sequence should make you glide towards a specific railing (as shown in the guide’s image).
  • Once you land on or near the railing, carefully drop down onto the rocks below it.
  • Turn around. You are now outside the playable map area and ready to glide.

Step 3: Your First Glide

There’s a game mechanic where if you are directly underneath a room you’ve placed, the game will teleport you straight up onto its floor. You’ll use this.

  • Use the gliding glitch to move underneath the second room you placed earlier.
  • To glide, run towards the edge in the direction shown in the image.
  • As soon as you start falling, press TAB to open the blueprint, then immediately close it.
  • Repeat opening and closing the blueprint about once every second. This allows you to glide forward safely.
  • As you glide under the second room, the game mechanic should pull you up (“snap” you) onto its floor.

Step 4: The Long Journey

After getting snapped into the second room, you need to get back outside its boundaries (the guide assumes you are outside again for this step).

  • Go to the position indicated in the guide’s screenshot and follow the edge of the map area.
  • Keep running along this edge until the ground disappears and you begin to fall again.
  • Quickly turn your view to the right, aim towards the spot shown in the guide’s image, and start gliding by pressing TAB about once per second.
  • Continue gliding. After a while, you should see the lever for the Antechamber appear in the distance.

Once the lever is visible, aim slightly to its right and press TAB as fast as you can to glide towards it. You need to cover as much distance horizontally as possible before you fall too far down, because the lever platform doesn’t pull you up like the house floors do. If you get too low beneath it, you won’t be able to reach it.

Step 5: Open the Antechamber

Once you successfully glide and land on the platform with the lever:

  • Carefully walk around the edges of the platform. Avoid falling off or accidentally entering any of the doors.
  • Reach the lever from the outside area and activate it. This will open the Antechamber.

Step 6: Claim the Trophies

  • You’re almost done. Now you just need to get into the Antechamber and open Door 46.
  • Face the direction shown in the guide’s image and begin gliding again (press TAB about once per second).
  • You should glide like this about 6 or 7 times (opening and closing the blueprint 6-7 times).
  • After those glides, turn left, facing the main entrance area of the house.
  • Keep gliding in this direction. Eventually, the game should snap you up into the Antechamber area.
  • Once inside, find Door 46 and interact with it to open it.
  • Watch the final cutscene.

The trophies should unlock when you appear back at the entrance the next morning in the game.
