
Game Progression Guide

There is no official or general timeline direction when a server has just started. When a server starts, there is only a linear path for how a player should progress their game. In the early game, there is no PvP interaction yet.
During this time, players are given time to strengthen themselves and prepare their Alliance for capturing City-States. After border passes are unlocked in several days, players will finally be able to experience warfare with other players.
These are the simplified gameplay from the early game phase:
Day 0 [Server Opening]
- Levelling up armies to the highest level possible (usually Lv30+ at the end of the day)
- Capturing only the highest level tiles
- Utilizing Day 1 Novice Protection to the fullest
Day 1-3
- Continue levelling up army
- Improving all the lower level tiles to Lv7
Day 3-4
- When a Milestone is reached, Alliances start capturing City-States
Day 4-6
- When a Milestone is reached, Barbarians in the Starting Region may appear
- Players start relocating
Day 6-7
- When a Milestone is reached, Alliances start building Wonders and Lv6 or Lv7 Passes will be capturable
- Players may have reached the Renaissance Era
Day 7+
- Alliances will finally be able to have war if they decide to fight another Alliance in the next border region.
- The real game starts.
These are considered the opening phase of the server. After unlocking access to another region, every Alliance will compete with each other to gain standings until the end of the Season. Lots of eventful gameplay will happen during that time.
