Doodle Magic: Wizard vs Slime – Apprentice Growth Analysis

Analysis of Apprentice Growth

By Beverly

Well yal, here’s the growth breakdown for anyone wondering exactly how it works and how beneficial it is to raise your Growth Stat. It was a-lot of work calcing out everything, but I’m glad I figured it all out.

The formula at the top can be used to determine how much attack will be gained from leveling up. For example, going from Lv.75 – Lv.76 with 8.5 Growth would calc out as:

  • ATK = 8 (1 + (76 x 0.05))
  • 8 (4.8) = +38.4 ATK

The first column represents your apprentice’s level and the second column shows the total attack gained from 1 “Growth” level.

Example:

  • “Lvl 1-50” = 114.75 ATK, meaning for every 1 ‘Growth’ you will gain a total of +114.75 ATK from Level 0 to 50.

You can multiply the values in the second column by your own/target “Growth” values to get a fairly accurate idea of what your Apprentice’s total attack will be. You can use these tools to help determine which apprentices will be best in the long run and also help you decide wether or not to invest in Training Crystals at all.

Growth Training

Essentially, “Growth” Training becomes far more beneficial after reaching higher apprentice levels and also allows you to proceed beyond Level 100; though I don’t know if the formula applies to Levels beyond 100 yet.

Initial Training

Initial Training provide a flat static increase to your Base Attack and will be far more beneficial at earlier apprentice levels. Additionally, after training 50 & 100 times, you will also unlock two additional talent slots which are randomly rolled and permanent and can be though each Talent is rolled randomly and permanent; so just know you may roll detrimental talents such as [Selfless], [Reckless], or just something altogether useless.
