R1/T1 Shadows Over Ancient Ruins Guide

Lv. 18/25 Ruin Guardian (Elemental)
As this is the first Rift players come across they can’t guarantee what skills they might have. Players therefore don’t need to tank and can pretty much run just about anything.
For the Trail version the only thing different from the Rift is that 2 Splinter Guards spawn.
- Rec / Req Manual – For Charge Fist.
- Recommended Auto / Manual – To help the rest of the part survive Wrath of the Earth.
Awakening
Boss increases its ATK by 1% every 5s.
Wrath of the Earth
Boss deals large amounts of DMG to all players.
- If you wanted to time flag for any ATK it be this one.
Guardian Form / God’s Eye
Guardian Form
Boss gains a shield for the next 10 seconds. If the shield is broken, the boss loses 3 stacks of Awakening otherwise the boss gains 5 stacks of Awakening.
God’s Eye
The Phase 2 version. In addition to the above outcomes for breaking or not breaking. If the shield is broken the boss will take an additional 50% additional DMG for the next 10s. Otherwise, the boss will release a Ray of Annihilation at the farthest player. There is no way to defend yourself from this ATK, DMG is too high.
Charge Fist
A circle will appear around the targeted player and receive massive amounts of DMG.
- Tank should use shield.
Splinter Guards (Trail Only)
These mobs spawn periodically. They debuff the DMG of the target players with stacks of Softening Fist. The debuff reduced DMG by 15% lasting 5 seconds. Max number of stacks is 5 with a total DMG debuff of 75%.
- Taunt so that DPS doesn’t get debuffed.
Phase #2 / Incarnation
When the first HP bar goes down to 0 it’s the start of phase 2. The gains an attack speed buff.
Besides the boss using God’s Eye instead of Guardian Form the mechanics stay the same.
