Currency Guide
Here is what I have learned so far about the different currencies available in Hero Wars and how to spend them.
Gems (Green, Main Currency):
Spend only on energy for campaign, up to 100 gems (5x).
Gold:
Very limited; you will run out fast:
- Level up hero skills of 5 main heroes. Do not waste on leveling up all hero skills equally.
Guild Currencies:
Hydra coins: Prioritize Artifact coins for leveling up stars on hero artifacts. (Bought from airship merchant.) Followed by either sparks of power (forge) or elemental spheres (Titan artifacts).
Titan skin stones: Only the three tanks have primordial skins; all other titans only have basic skin upgrades. Not sure which to prioritize.
Titan potions: Level up titans in batches of 5 levels with the following priority:
- Supers: Amon, Eden, Hyperion, Araji
- Tanks: Moloch, Angus, Sigurd
- Marksmen: Nova, Vulcan, Sylva
- Support: Mairi, Ignis, Avalon
Titan Artifacts:
Fairy dust: Incredibly gold expensive; be careful.
Airship Merchant:
Level up stars for your main heroes’ artifacts before moving on to others.
Merchant (Main Screen):
- Town shop: Avoid wasting gold here.
- VIP shop: The only place to obtain some heroes. Avoid if F2P.
- Arena coins: Spend on hero shards. Most weapons/armor here are easy to obtain from questing.
- Tower: Easily obtained. Prioritize gold first, then unlock and level up heroes. May choose to buy weapons.
- Highwayman: Soul stones.
- Outland: Unlock base level of heroes ONLY. Then only buy skin shop certificates.
- Dungeon: All pretty much equally valuable. Unlock Alvanor first.
- Grand Arena: Soul stones. Rufus first.
- Guild War shop: Early game: Gold and Titan potions + Mid game: K’arkh and then Jhu soul stones.
- Guild Champion: Guild war trophies.
- Hero’s way: Tristan, Gold.
