How to Clear 28-60
What makes Pterodactyl such a difficult task for less experienced players is the fact that, similar to Tokugawa, it has an incredible amount of inherent dodge.
However; unlike Tokugawa, who can be crowd controlled and burnt, pterodactyl has the “immune to cc” trait, which stops burn.
There are 3 common ways of dealing with dodge based units. These are:
- Burn
- Increasing accuracy/hit %
- Sure hit effects/unavoidable DMG
Since we can’t use burn, we just move down the drawing board to hit%. For Pterodactyl, in order to more consistently hit it, we will want around 190% hit. However; it can be difficult for newer players to get to this amount. Enter Copernicus. Copernicus ult at lvl 3 can give our dps a substantial hit% steroid which makes a night and day difference. As a result, we can lower our accuracy requirements to about 150-155, which is more new player accessible with substat farming.
As for the dps you use, it doesn’t really matter as much–as long as they are built well enough. some of the more common ones used are Chiyome, Zhou yu, Iori moe (earth).
Alright, well, that’s one team down but we only have 1 Copernicus… What do we do about the other side? For that, we need to look at unavoidable dmg.
Unavoidable dmg is something you as a player will like quite a bit in the campaign. It’s a bit slower at winning the game compared to standard skills, but it has the trade off of consistency.
So with that in mind, let’s bring out the next team.
- 4* Takenaka
- 4* Michaelangelo
- 3* or Higher Himiko
The last 2 units don’t matter, and can just be atk% buffers you don’t need on your other team like darwin and anderson.
How the Team Works:
We use mich barrier on takenaka in a –I formation. This causes the boss to take a heavy indirect dmg that it can’t dodge. We use himiko to give ourselves extra dmg as himiko sandstorm dmg can’t be dodged either.
