Infinity Nikki – Whimstar Locations Guide (Wishing Woods)

All Whimstar Locations in Wishing Woods

By Costco Churros

Southeastern Wishing Woods

On top of a weird rock, use the Bug Catching Outfit to catch the Whimflutter!

This one is inside a very tall tree trunk. Use the Shrinking Outfit and get the nearby Pounceria plant to slam down so you can hop onto the back of its petals. When it rises back up, use the height to hop onto the Fairy Trampolines needed to jump down into the trunk.

Eastern Wishing Woods

You’ll need to bust this one out of a crate and then chase it around nearby platforms. Enjoy!

Northeastern Wishing Woods

It’s a cloud Whimstar, enjoy the ride!

This one is south of the one above. It’s at the top of a very tall tree trunk, so Momo is on duty for this one! You’ll use a nearby Fairy Trampoline to get on top, there is also a small entrance on one side of the trunk where you’ll find a chest with 10 Diamonds, too!

Grand Millewish Tree

You’ll need a bit of clever platform jumping to get up here but there’s a Warp Spire so you’ll only have to do it once. The Curio Domain Challenge requires you to move some boxes!

Break the box, use the Shrinking Outfit, ta-daaaaa!

Just some clever platforming needed to get up here.

You’ll find this after you’ve found the Garrison of the Paladins Warp Spire. It’s a Curio Domain Challenge with boxes & switches!

Western Wishing Woods

This is due west of the Wishcraft Lab that you’ll visit as part of the main story quest. You’ll need the Shrinking Outfit to get Momo under this rock.

This is a few steps southeast of the previous Whimstar, also due west of the Wishcraft Lab Warp Spire. You’ll need Momo for this Whimstar as some of the spaces to collect stars are Momo-sized.

Located inside a tree trunk that you enter from the western end. This Whimstar is northwest of the Wishcraft Lab Warp Spire.

Northwestern Wishing Woods

This is northwest of Timis’s Beauty Lab Warp Spire, along the edge of the zone at the top of a plateau. You’ll need to use Momo’s pole-climbing ability and there are two Pounceria plants nearby, one of which can reach you at the base of the pole.

Northern Wishing Woods

Workshop Waterwheel

This is directly next to the Workshop Waterwheel Warp Spire. The easiest way to get this is to jump onto a small leaf pavilion and bubble jump to the waterwheel and ride it until you can safely jump and float over to the star.

This is near the Cavern Prison, just north of the Grand Millewish Tree. You’ll need to ride a cloud and alternately hop off to catch stars. The last few stars are situated along a pole that only Momo can climb so you’ll need to use the Shrinking Outfit right before you jump off.

Central Wishing Woods

Swordsmith Ruins Area

This is just a few steps south of the Swordsmith Ruins Entrance Warp Spire. There is a stone guard outside it that will teleport you a few feet away if you are zapped, but it’s easy enough to bypass.

A fair bit southeast of the Swordsmith Ruins Entrance Warp Spire, along a riverbank, you’ll find a Whimstar ferret to groom!

Ascetic Camp

In the Ascetic Camp near the Warp Spire, you’ll find a Whimstar mid-air. It’s easiest to get on top of the big tree trunk and float jump to reach it.

Northeast of the Ascetic Camp you’ll find a chest with Esselings inside that you’ll defeat to get the Whimstar.

Southeast of the Ascetic Camp there’s a Whimflutter that you can easily reach by standing on this platform and using the Bug Catching Outfit. You don’t even need to jump to reach it, just stand on the edge!

Southeast of the Swordsmith Ruins themselves, you’ll find this Curio Domain Challenge. OBS messed up my screen cap, but it’s a simple box puzzle with platforms. You’ll move the boxes each to their nearest platform, then move the heavier box onto the switch, and then the lighter one onto the switch to unlock the Whimstar.
