Killing Floor 2 – HoE Objective Solo Strategies

Basics

You should do these achievements after getting some Hell on Earth achievements. You should know how to beat the bosses, use perks, and play the game. You need to level up the Berserker, Firebug, and Survivalist perks. You can use any perk for the boss wave, but I used the Gunslinger. Level 25 is recommended.

I’ll give you the strategies in the order I completed them. The first map will be tough, but the others will be easier once you know what to do. Most of this guide is about using a Survivalist with a shovel and healing grenades. You should get the Hemoclobber first, then the Kaboomstick. When there are endless enemies, you can kill more to get weapons faster. Groups of weak enemies are more annoying in this mode.

Using healing grenades and the Hemoclobber with the Survivalist makes things easier. Use the Kaboomstick against Fleshpounds. Try not to waste money, look for ammo boxes, and be careful with your healing grenades. Don’t use armor in the early waves. In this mode, money feels more limited than in survival mode.

The strategies for the same objectives are usually the same. Switching perks can help in some situations. If you’re low on ammo or health, you can run away from an objective to find ammo boxes or heal. EDAR trappers felt the most dangerous to me, and it’s important to stay away from Bloats.

ZED Landing

  • Wave 1 – Weld: Use a Survivalist with a shovel and healing grenades. Use the grenades to stay alive if needed. Make sure there aren’t too many enemies around while repairing. Keep Bloats and Rioters away while repairing.
  • Wave 2 – Extermination: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 3 – Escort: Use the same strategy as Wave 1 for repairs. Healing grenades can protect the drone.
  • Wave 4 – Escort: Use a Berserker, as they are fast and can’t be grabbed.
  • Wave 5 – Defend: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 6 – Escort: Use a Survivalist with the same escort strategy.
  • Wave 7 – Operate: Use a Survivalist. It’s almost like defending.
  • Wave 8 – King Fleshpound: Use a Gunslinger.

Biotics Lab

  • Wave 1 – Defend: Use a Survivalist or Berserker. Leave the area and kill extra enemies to get the Hemoclobber for Wave 2.
  • Wave 2 – Transport: Use a Berserker.
  • Wave 3 – Extermination: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 4 – Operate: Use a Survivalist. You may need to run away to heal.
  • Wave 5 – Escort: Use the same escort strategy as before.
  • Wave 6 – Weld: It’s easier than usual because the repair time is shorter.
  • Wave 7 – Defend: Use the double heal and Kaboomstick against Fleshpounds.
  • Wave 8 – Patriarch: Use a Gunslinger.

Outpost

  • Wave 1 – Weld: Same as Wave 1 in ZED Landing.
  • Wave 2 – Operate: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 3 – Escort: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 4 – Transport: Use a Berserker.
  • Wave 5 – Escort: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 6 – Operate: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 7 – Patriarch: Use a Gunslinger.
  • Wave 8 – Defend: Use a Survivalist.

Steam Fortress

  • Wave 1 – Escort: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 2 – Weld: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 3 – Transport: Use a Berserker.
  • Wave 4 – Operate: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 5 – Escort: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 6 – Transport: Use a Berserker. Play it safe and look for another way if something blocks your path.
  • Wave 7 – Defend: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 8 – Weld: Use a Survivalist. Play it safe and take your time. Run away to heal if needed.
  • Wave 9 – Operate: Use a Survivalist. Use the Kaboomstick a lot.
  • Wave 10 – Random Boss: Same as survival mode.

Nuked

This map will have more information. I had some trouble with the usual strategy, but after changing it, the difficulty felt like it was between hard and suicidal. Waves 2 and 3 are the hardest. The rest is easy. When you switch to Survivalist, you’ll use the Kaboomstick more often than on other maps.

Purchase Order:

Dragon's Breath
Hemoclobber
Kaboomstick
  • Wave 1 – Extermination: Use a Firebug. Run around and use ground fires.
  • Wave 2 – Weld: Use ground fires from Dragon’s Breath and use Molotovs to kill weak enemies while welding. Only weld when there are no enemies or just a few weak ones around.
  • Wave 3 – Operate: Weld all doors shut during trader time. Try to keep the doors intact as long as possible. The door to the basement should break first. Use ground fires from Dragon’s Breath and Molotovs. Use ammo boxes. Use the basement to heal if needed.
  • Wave 4 – Transport: Use a Berserker. It’s important to know when to fight or not while outside. Strong enemies blocking narrow passages are more dangerous compared to other transport missions. Sometimes you’ll need to go back and find another way to the terminal.
  • Wave 5 – Escort: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 6 – Defend: Use a Survivalist. This time, you’ll need to use the Kaboomstick a lot.
  • Wave 7 – Escort: Use a Survivalist.
  • Wave 8 – Hans: Use a Gunslinger.

I hope this was helpful to you!
