League of Legends: Wild Rift – Tips to Gank

How and When to Gank

Keep a close eye on control wards. If an enemy has a control ward, make sure you know where it is and play around it.

Just like Fiddlesticks, most ganks are failed when the enemy sees Evelynn too early. If an enemy has a control ward and you know where it is, gank them from another angle. They’ll feel too safe and let their guard down.

As for the methods, most early-game ganks will rely on having your ult up for the execute and escape.

Go invisible where there are no wards or enemies to see you, and approach a weakened enemy, putting yourself between them and their turret if possible.

Use the 2nd ability to make them run towards their turret, then rapidly use 3rd, 1st, auto, 1st, and ult as the full combo.

Try to circle behind them between 3rd and ult so the ult can be aimed towards the river for another gank, a nearby low-health enemy chamption, or a bush to recall or go invis and heal.

Use less abilities if you know it will still kill. Most enemy champs will die with just 3rd and 1st, and the occasional ult, so don’t use the full combo or it’ll leave you without any means to attack other champs.

Also, fully charging the 2nd ability is generally only for monsters, not champs, because it’ll give them plenty of time to react.

On champs, it’s just to make them run into you and reduce their movement speed.

If you have to gank right before an objective, try not to ult. Save the ult in case the enemy jungler shows up and then ult+smite at ~2k HP.
