Legend of Kingdoms: Idle RPG – Beginners Tips and Tricks

Tips and Tricks for New Players

General

Lineup guide

Focus on Ma Chao, Jia Xu, Liu Bei

  • Ma Chao is the easiest hero to build and is a good tank/dmg dealer (due to lifesteal).
  • Jia Xu is a good mage/damage dealer.
  • Liu Bei is a great healer in the game (SP-Saint).

Event Guide

Collect as many resources and don’t use it yet until an event comes out (e.g. Recruitment Scrolls, Gold chest/Exp chest).

This is for you to get the top rewards on the event, especially the Recruit Fighters event/Recruit Event.

Failed mission/dungeon

Don’t include your SSR heroes to star up your line up, you can use them on experiment if you can no longer pass a level.

My advice is to keep Zhou Tai (Wu-SSR). If you think your frontline dies immediately (below 5 seconds), you can use Zhou Tai as a frontline, his passive gives him immortality and can hold up to 5 seconds. You can also add him on your line up.

Others

  • Make sure you finish all quests/missions.
  • Don’t rush on things, try to check other players and seek advice.
  • Always gather resources in War Island if you no longer have stamina.
  • Join daily events like Barbarian, War Island Boss, etc.
  • Don’t use your Jade for recruitment, try to buy important stuff in the shop, especially on the Shop > Fighter, would be best if you collect shards of your main line up.
  • Utilize the Lucky Summon (Hero recruitment), select a good SP you’d like to be part of your lineup.

Stick with the base heroes and try to focus on your main goal and heroes

Start with whatever heroes you have and try to create a combination for me it is always 2 frontline heroes and 3 backlines.if you have goof support iys good but if you feel like support is not doing much than you can opt to a damage dealer to focus more on damage.

Take full advantage of the free recruits and minimize the use of jades to save for later events.

Best Early Build for F2P

From the beginning, LOK gives you Fighters like Ma Chao, Lu Lingqi, Sun Lun Yu, and Jia Xu. (Also Sun Shang Xiang, but I don’t use her.)

Those four Fighters were the best for the early game because they were easy to rank up.

For the fifth Fighter, I recommend putting Liu Bei in the lineup.

Why Liu Bei? Why not Sun Shang Xiang?

Let’s compare them at the same rank (3 Moon or 1 Sun). As a DPS, Sun Shang Xiang needs to be upgraded to increase her damage, but it was so hard to get her duplicates as an F2P player in the early game. Sun Shang Xiang cannot deal high damage if her rank is still at 5 stars or Moon 3 – she’s useless at low ranks.

However, for Liu Bei, he was pretty useful even if his rank is still at 5 stars (default rank, not upgraded). Because he is a support, Liu Bei didn’t consume resources as much as Sun Shang Xiang.

Liu Bei can increase your Ma Chao’s Attack Damage by 10% for 5 seconds and give him 100 rage at the beginning of the battle (3rd skill). And his passive (4th skill) gives all allied units 12% Attack and Healing Effect.

Not just that, his ultimate (Rage) makes allied units immune to CC (Unstoppable).

With Liu Bei, we can climb tower and push story easily.
