Quick Guide to HP / Cinder-DMG Build
By Nanab.hi
I tried out a HP only build on Erys and am pleasantly surprised. It is a fun build that is off the current meta that is armor building. I have yet to reach level 60 as the elite deaths in floor 57 killed me twice already.
Basically the build is life drain, max possible HP and cinder damage. Since the cinder set has the effect that it applies 25% of your hp as cinder dmg on all enemies, it’s basically a free demonic set included lol.
I start off with gold/merc once I’m beyond wood and then transition to flesh set for wimblow damage once it’s avaiable. I put away the gold set and just keep one silver set piece (for cleansing) and go for cinder boots only once they drop. No need for more cinder equipment as I just want to take away the set bonus.
The build then scales best with giant rings (for HP%) and elemental dmg % (celeastial armor) as well as faith and life steal. Once I can, I equip common blood edge mostly for gold gains.
This is – how else could it be – until I can equip throngler. Then I dismantle some of those bad boys for more flat hp and it really begins to scale up starting level 30.
It’s a fun build that renders all enemies that usually are nasty due to armor break or high pen as I simply do not have armor to begin with. It’s a breeze up until floot 56 when the elite deaths appear as they have enormous amounts of hp and I can’t oneshot them with my 46 Mil Cinder dmg. Maybe someone wants to try this build and has a tip for me to survive against them.
I tried to add a bit of dazzle since I had a lot of thoughness through giants rings so I thought some armor might help me against the death-mob but it ultimately didn’t save me lol.
I did try this build on ptb but died to the iron golems, as they have so much armored dmg.
