Explanatory Guide to Starveil
Cannon
The cannon has 100% health when you start, every time the timer on any of the 3 thunder towers reaches 0, your cannon loses 1% of its health. When it reaches 0% your whole lobby loses the match.
Beta
Beta has a bunch of different attacks, you don’t have to worry about them if you can tank them. Otherwise practice on easy mode.
The only attack you have to look out for is the meteor attack, if you haven’t picked up a yellow crystal before this attack you’ll die if a meteor hits you (you generate a shield that blocks one meteor hit from damaging you I think 30 seconds after picking up a crystal). The best way as a team to deal with this is to huddle as close as you can in the middle and have the people with a shield block the meteors before they hit the people without shields.
Buer
Buer has 3 main attack types. Wood, water, and fire. Getting hit with an elemental attack inflicts 1 stack of ‘elemental reaction.’ You get inflicted with a powerful debuff if you reach 5 stacks depending on the element. The counter resets and changes elements if you get hit with an attack of a different element or if you reach 5 stacks.
- Wood: Reduces mvt spd by 12% for every stack. 5 stacks prevents you from moving and using skills/basic atk for 10s.
- Water: Increases dmg taken by 15% for every stack. 5 stacks creates an area around you that drags your teammates towards you, reducing their mvt spd and dealing 35% max hp worth of dmg after 6s passes.
- Fire: Deals 5% max hp for every stack every second. 5 stacks generates flames under your feet while moving for 10s. The flames deal 8% max hp worth of dmg when walked on.
Ideal strategy
Have 2 teams attacking Beta and the thunder towers to keep the stream shield down and prevent the cannon from taking damage.
The 3rd team attacks Buer while the shield is down to defeat her.
And don’t use res tokens whatever you do, it reduces damage dealt for the whole lobby.
If your getting carried, just don’t use res tokens please.
For people who’s doing starviel easy so they can get carried in Normal and Hard and want a summery of what to do.
Learn attack patterns, Know when to dodge, Know what to do. Don’t Res just keep retrying. If you can’t beat the boss than unfortunately it’s a skill issue and you should wait until you have the DPS. Nothing should be rushed.
