Character Advancement and Development Strategy

By OppaiLover

Chars Basics

In the game, characters are mainly divided into three levels:

  • Divine / Demon: The strongest characters, most of which are worth investing in and can be advanced up to 15 stars.
  • Legendary: Commonly used characters, some of which are very powerful and also upgrading to 15 stars.
  • 5-Star Heroes: Mainly used for beginner progression and as materials for advancing Legendary characters. They can be upgraded to 9 stars.

Suggestions

  • Early game: When resources are limited, focus on upgrading key characters to 8 stars, while other characters can be kept at 7 stars.
  • Mid game: Aim to advance your main characters to 9 stars, and set aside the rest for later.
  • Late game: Your main characters should reach 12 stars, while others can be upgraded to 8-9 stars as needed.
  • For Free or Low-Spend Players: 12 stars can serve as a reasonable goal, as all additional attribute bonuses will be unlocked.
  • For Spenders: You can push key characters to 15 stars, further enhancing their base attributes.
  • When 5-Star Heroes are used as advancement materials, any resources invested in them will be returned to the player (excluding any characters consumed in the advancement process).
  • Note: Avoid using Legendary characters as advancement materials.

Detailed Explanation of Advancement Benefits

Advancing characters not only boosts their base attributes but also unlocks the following features:

Synergy Unlocks

  • Faction Synergy: Unlocks when the character reaches 7 stars and their talent is upgraded to Rare or higher.
  • Rune Synergy: Unlocks when the character reaches 8 stars and is equipped with 4 Epic or higher-grade runes.

When characters are upgraded from 5 stars to 12 stars, they enhance team-wide attributes. Beyond 12 stars, no further bonuses are added, so for free or low-spend players, 12 stars can serve as an optimal goal.

Advancement Resource Requirements

Advancing a character to 12 stars requires a significant amount of resources. Here’s the breakdown:

  • 6 Stars: Requires 2 five-star heroes (same fraction)
  • 7 Stars: Requires 1 duplicate character + 3 five-star heroes (same fraction)
  • 8 Stars: Requires 1 duplicate character + 1 six-star hero + 2 five-star heroes (same fraction)
  • 9 Stars: Requires 1 duplicate character + 1 six-star hero + 4 five-star heroes (same fraction)
  • 10 Stars: Requires 2 duplicate characters + 1 nine-star hero (any fraction)
  • 11 Stars: Requires 2 duplicate characters + 1 nine-star hero (any fraction)
  • 12 Stars: Requires 2 duplicate characters + 1 nine-star hero (any fraction)
  • 13 Stars: Requires 3 duplicate characters.
  • 14 Stars: Requires 3 duplicate characters.
  • 15 Stars: Requires 4 duplicate characters.
