Lost City Guide for Specific Synergies

This guide covers frequently asked team compositions for Lost City mode, specifically designed for Free-to-Play (F2P) players. All the heroes suggested here can be obtained without spending, making these strategies accessible to both spenders and non-spenders. The guide focuses on chapters and setups that players commonly find challenging, and these teams are effective up until around level 300.

Key Heroes and Artifacts

Heroes: Atropos and Dahlia are core members of every team.
Relics: The two primary relics are Scythe and Knight’s Edge.
For stages with a 6-round win requirement, Knight’s Edge is preferred for its damage boost.
For survival-focused stages, Tyr is favored for enhanced durability.
For additional survivability, you can use the Healing Vase > Kamier’s Lantern > Blades of Chaos combo to trigger the Holy Shield effect.

You can substitute these relics with any higher-quality options you may have. Likewise, if you have stronger heroes, feel free to swap out the recommended ones. For example, an 8-star Eudora can replace Carola or Catrina in Ethereal/Enchanters teams. This flexibility applies across various teams and heroes.

Enchanters

Enchanter stages are usually straightforward, requiring two deviants (Ophelia +1) and a third filler hero. Dahlia and Atropos will have enough time to scale up damage and complete the stage.

Optional substitutes: Arkdina, Lachesis, Hallios, Athena.

Mystifiers

This is one of the easiest synergies due to the inherent strength of Mystifier heroes. Astrid, Dullahan, and Mulan are the primary heroes, but any combination should work well up to stage 300. You can also use Talos, Sandra, or Catherine.

Avengers

Avenger stages can be challenging, especially early on, until Salleine and Mavis are strong enough. While building them up, you can use a mix of Persephone, Diao Chan (if obtained during her season), Solomon, Albert, or any of these heroes at 8* paired with Dahlia and Atropos for survivability. Arkdina paired with Janna is also a good option as a two-deviant setup.

Verdians

Verdian stages are among the toughest due to limited hero options. Commonly used heroes are Nawi, Lee, Merlin, and Twins, with Nawi replacing Merlin as per needed.
Optional substitutes: Doris or Sylvan can add Doom synergy with Dahlia, though they won’t perform as well as Lee, Twins, and Merlin.
For survival relics in Verdian stages: Ideally, run a Relic that restores 100 energy upon cast — Blades of Chaos — Hand of Tyr.

Ethereal

Ethereal trials are generally easier, with Dorabella and Catrina being accessible heroes, often paired with Karnak.
Substitute heroes: Anubia, Portia, Mastema—all should work.

Note: Catrina’s yellow runes significantly help with survivability due to CRIT Boost. Dorabella’s runes help with damage a lot.

Valiantors

Valiantor stages are easy to clear due to naturally strong synergy heroes. Atropos, Leandra, and Macaria make these stages effortless.
Substitutes: Victoria, Elmer, Kristine, Nyx, Marlena.

Phantoms

Phantom stages were a challenge before Dahlia (a Phantom hero) was introduced. With Dahlia, you can easily clear these stages using Persephone, Narissa, and Janna.
Substitute heroes: Elmer (frontline for survivability), Aiustha, Althea.

Monarchs

As the strongest synergy in the game, Monarchs have no trouble clearing stages. With Halysa (with her exclusive runes), two Monarchs, Dahlia, and Atropos = :TE_EZ: Win
Substitutes: Any other Monarch heroes.

Shadowarchs

Similar to Phantoms but generally easier to manage with Avengers. Phantom + Solomon + Mavis make up three Shadows, while Atropos and Salleine can fill the remaining slots. This setup was commonly used before Dahlia’s release. Having Mavis at 11* and Salleine’s exclusive runes helps significantly.

Easy clear: Halysa + Sandra + Mavis.
Tip: Position Mavis on the first slot.

Dawnbringers

The hardest trial, in my opinion. I worked hard to create F2P-friendly setups. Here are the most common clear records:

Team 1: Atropos, Dahlia, Elisha, Catrina, and Dorabella — An Ethereals setup, a bit expensive due to Elisha.
Team 2: Atropos, Dahlia, Diao Chan, Salleine, and Persephone — An Avengers setup that’s more budget-friendly, works to an extent (requires Salleine’s exclusive).
Team 3: Atropos, Dahlia, Catrina, Dorabella, and Macaria — An Ethereals setup with Catrina for a shield-based team.
