Solutions to Crashes
FAQ (Game Crash)
My game always crashing/unable to launch, what should I do?
If your game always crashes while playing / there are abnormalities in your game (NPC disappears, display anomalies, etc.) you try the following:
- Lowering graphics settings until you get something stable.
- Run game in either fullscreen or windowed (whichever that has not been tried).
- Check graphics drivers.
- Clear shader cache.
- Restart your game, restart your PC.
- Optimise / defragment your drives.
- Verify game files / reinstall the game.
- If using 2 or more monitors / displays, you can temporarily disconnect monitors other than the primary monitor.
- If the issue is resolved, you can try with multiple monitors again.
- Move or delete GameUserSetting.ini file.
Note: You find it by pressing Windows+R and navigating to %Localappdata%\U01\Saved. After that go to Config -> Windows. You can find your GameUserSetting.ini file. Then verify game files and try to launch.
Fixes & Workarounds
Ammo Going Through Walls
Ammo using the conveyors to move, they just hit any wall that’s not thick enough and they just pop through them.
Workaround: Add a regular wall or armored, and add layer of a regular wall, not AEGIS armor wall, but the blue one in any part that thr ammo might hit to make it thick. They will stay on place!
Out of Memory Issue Fix
Since UE5 and some Intel 13700 series/Intel 13900 series/Intel 14900 series CPUs have a crash caused by hardware issues. When encountering such problems with a pop up [Out of Memory], players may try to turn on power-saving mode or use XTU to reduce the frequency to 5.0 and then restart the game.
Save File Location
