Chaotic Ornament Relic: What Is It?

By OT

Description

  • The cards on which you can move are chosen at random

Does it mean the cards around you (where you can move) will change and be chosen at random each time you move? What this relic will change? Read the explanation below.

The Explanation

It means you don’t move in cardinal directions like left, right, up, down. You have Leore’s movement mechanic which looks like this:

Notice I can either move down for the ring, left for the skeleton, or up to the feather (which is 1 more direction than if I did move normally), with prompts showing which cards I can move to.

While at first this seems like a huge disadvantage, depending on your setup it can actually be wildly powerful — it means you’ll always be able to move onto cards as long as there are cards left.

No more getting stuck on the left side of the board with 3 cards out of reach when you aren’t someone like Sorehl with wind powers to push yourself or other things together, etc.

The options change after each movement or when cards could change position, i.e. giving Lenient Winds to Leore here you can trigger the move and your options will change even if there has been no movement and the board is completely full.

Hope this helps.
