Paladin is the other 2nd Transcendent Job of the Swordsman. Paladins are the main tank of the game which have the highest HP pool. They mainly use 1-hand spear and shield. They can be both DPS and Tank as well.

Stats

• Max out VIT for more base HP and damage which MR skill scales on.
• The rest put to AGI for attack speed.

* Once you reach 500% aspd, start lowering your AGI and put into LUK for CRIT.

Swordsman Skills:

• 5 Bash
• 5 Magnum Break
• 5 Fatal Blow
• 10 Provoke
• 5 Endure
• 10 Increase Recuperative Power

Crusader Skills:

• 1 Riding
• 5 Cavalier Mastery
• 5 Smite
• 10 Faith
• 5 Providence
• 10 Auto Guard
• 5 Spear Mastery – Just for pre-requisite
• 3 Protection – Just for pre-requisite

Paladin Skills:

• 5 Fortitude
• 10 Spear Quicken
• 5 Martyr’s Reckoning
• 2 Battle Chant
• 10 Reflect Shield
• 3 Defender
• 1 Devotion (Job Sigil: Glimmer)

• Weapon: Ru Blue Spear (Recommended: Refine +15 for refine effect)
• Off-hand: Holy Guard (Recommended: Refine +9 for refine effect)
• Armor: Goibne’s Armor
• Cloak: Goibne’s Spaulders
• Shoes: Goibne’s Greaves

Accessories:

• Level 65: Necklace (2-slotted better)
• Level 85: Necklace or Golden Foot Ring (Necklace still better for me)
• Level 95: Dark Knight Gloves and Dark Knight Belt

Battle Chant White Aura

* Uncheck first in the Skill Setting the “Default Highest Level of Skill”

• In the first Manual Skill wheel, put Level 1 Battle Chant
• In the second Manual Skill wheel, put Level 2 Battle Chant

Tap twice the Level 1 Battle Chant to make it Purple. Switch to 2nd Skill Wheel and tap Level 2 Battle Chant to make it White.

• White Aura: Both Ally buff and Enemy Debuff will function at the same time.
