Missing or Corrupt Save Files / Missing Campaign Data [Fixed]

1. Back up all saves from: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Stalker2.
2. Go to \Stalker2\Saved\STEAM\SaveGames\Data.
3. Start a new game.
4. Choose a different save slot than your last one.
5. Skip intro with SPACE.
6. Save game.
7. Copy the new save file’s name (press F2 to “rename” the file, then Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C to copy the full name).
8. Delete this new save.
9. Rename your old save file using the copied name.
10. Try loading the game.
11. If it starts from the intro, that save is broken – try again with another old save file.

Keep trying with different old saves until one works. This should help you recover your progress without losing hours of gameplay.
