Early-Game Space Belt MAM, Using Trains for Input, 4 Belts
By Lobotomy.
- Can Handle: Gaps, pins, less than four layers
- Cannot Handle: Crystals, fully floating structures.
Only the four-layers version was made, mainly made for producing ROS #1.
The blueprint uses radio channels 1-4, so you’ll need to avoid using those. On the only 3×3 platform, there is a button used to switch between the test shape generator and the ROS signal.
There are five types of input in total, including four different 1/4 shapes and one pin, all rotated to the northeast corner. Since the shape has a train station buffer, the overall output speed mainly depends on the coloring. If the target doesn’t have large sections of the same color, it will be relatively easier to achieve the theoretical speed.
Future improvement and optimization: The fluid section should also be converted to train input, with a separate buffer for each layer’s paint. This part hasn’t been implemented yet. Additionally, due to the large buffer inside the shape’s train station, which gradually overflows from one side, it takes a considerable amount of time to fill this buffer during startup.
