Maximize FPS with These PC Settings
I use an older laptop with a 1050ti and an i7 7700. I can run around north with ~50-80 FPS (on a lowered res, done through windows display settings) depending on the amount of anomalies around, hope this might help you guys get some frames!
Some Optional Settings:
- Render Distance – Never Lower.
- Particle render distance – Can be raised but anomalies may eat your FPS, should still be safe on reduced.
- MSAA – Low performance impact until 8x.
- FXAA – Just use MSAA unless you still aren’t getting playable frames.
- Block and Texture filtering – If you use antistrophic filtering, large performance impact.
- Grass – Will animate at low, minimum recommended.
- Bloom and Soft Particle – Optional, low impact.
If your frames are still struggling, change the resolution your display is running (Stal will match your monitor, and this is much better than lowering the resolution percentage in game).
You can also lower FOV by values of 5, makes a large impact.
If Your Frames Drop Mid-Session:
Switch your game off/on to fullscreen/borderless windowed.
Stalcraft loses it’s priority for GPU sometimes, and this can bring it back. Also changing Stalcraft to a high priority program in the details section of task manager can help with this.
I hope you found this helpful!
