How to Get All Achievements (Stray Gods: Orpheus)
Notes and Spoilers!
This guide has major spoilers for the plot and songs. It’s best to play the DLC yourself before reading this guide. You can skip scenes by pressing ‘N’, but you can’t skip songs. Each run of the DLC takes about X minutes. When starting the DLC, you can choose from a previous save file or default choices. The guide assumes you use the default save file, unless stated otherwise.
Default choices mean the underworld throne was destroyed, Orpheus and Persephone don’t rule the Underworld, Athena lost to Grace and gave power back to the idols, and Asterion is released from his love for Hecate and goes to the mortal world to find love. I’m writing this as I play, so bear with me. You can comment on how to get an achievement I haven’t gotten yet.
One More Song
Even oblivion isn’t ready for you
One More Song is achieved through normal play, awarded after the first song.
Return of the King
Heavy is the head that wears the crown
Return of the King requires continuing from a base game playthrough where you gave Orpheus the throne. The achievement is granted after the first song. Thanks @ofhearts!
Outside Looking in
Think you have it bad? Consider her hairdresser
After the second song (speed dating), you visit a bar where a different character visits you. I’m unsure if your actions influence which character visits. For this playthrough, I decided not to stay longer at the speed dating event when given the option to leave. This achievement is awarded after speaking and singing with Medusa. I was sympathetic towards her cause during the song, but I’m unsure if that makes a difference.
The Meaning of Love
Love is no longer on the menu
After the second song (speed dating), you visit a bar where a different character visits you. I’m unsure if your actions influence which character visits. For this playthrough, I decided to stay longer at the speed dating event and chose to match random people with each other at the end of the song. This achievement is awarded after speaking and singing with Eros. I was thankful for his advice during the song, but I’m unsure if that makes a difference.
A Mortal Life
Off to drift a sports car and write a memoir. Why not?
This is awarded based on decisions made in the fourth song and received after the cut scene following the fifth song (a very short song). During the song with Grace, choose options that make you open to change in your new life, then decide to live a mortal life.
Back to the Dead
There and back again, a tale as old as time
This is awarded based on decisions made in the fourth song and received after the cut scene following the fifth song (a very short song). During the song with Grace, choose options that focus on finishing your life, then decide to fade into oblivion in hopes of being with Eurydice again.
In Search of Fate
They’ve made your life hell and they’re going to pay
This is awarded based on decisions made in the fourth song and received after the cut scene following the fifth song (a very short song). During the song with Grace, choose options that focus on finding new purpose, then decide to embark on a legendary quest to find the fates.
Orpheus Has no Rizz
It’s been a thousand years. You’re rusty
Flirt with everyone. Dialogue options with a pink heart next to them mean heavy flirting. Click these options three times (doesn’t have to be in one save) when you speak to Medusa/Eros, Hermes, and Grace.
