Sword of Convallaria – Auras Guide: How They Work and Stack

Quick Guide to Auras

By Morav.

Auras in SoC affect all units of the same typing as listed in the aura description – we’ll be using Gloria’s “Vow of Justice” aura as our main example.

Vow of Justice affects all The Union allies giving them 10% increased ATK, 20% increased DEF, and the unique effect of “when performing an active attack, DMG is increased by 12%. When being Struck back, DMG taken is decreased by 24%”.

There are two parts to every aura which are the base stat increases (10% ATK & 20% DEF) as well as a unique affect (see above). Every Aura gives the same stat increases and these DO NOT STACK. Unique effects do however stack!

One point to be aware of, each faction only has one “Faction Leader” which is a unit whose aura has a unique affect besides just basic stat increases. One example for units we likely all have is Maitha VS Rawiyah – both have aura’s that affect Sword of Convallaria allies, but only Rawiyah’s has the unique effect increases “DMG dealt by 8%, and decreases their DMG taken by 8%”.

So when people discuss stacking auras they’re referring to stacking the unique effects of multiple auras.

For example – having Dantalion, Magnus and Gloria on the same team means you have auras that affect Iria, Fortitude, and The Union units.

  • Dantalion is Iria and Fortitude
  • Magnus is Iria and Fortitude
  • Gloria is Fortitude and The Union

So each unit in the above team has two unique aura affects available to them – it will be up to you to make sure you meet the conditions for these aura’s to activate if any are needed.

I hope this was helpful to you!

  1. Thank you for making this, I was honestly rather confused at first but this let me easily decide to turn off Maitha’s Leadership, although I am debating for Col’s since his Unique was decent for Raiyah and Faecal and gave him the basic boost.

In the end I kept Col’s as his leadership is better than Ambush, although that’s assuming you made the mistake of buying Leadership first, where you then need to Castellia Omen of Death.
