Frost Cross
Storm Flying Axe
Attribute
Glancing (2260_53%)
Omni (1794_15.6%)
Cooldown (700_10%)
Having more Omni Help with basic Damage Immunity when using (1) with Frost Cross it will have the highest Damage Immunity of Barbarian.
Having more Cooldown Help refresh (5) with Storm Flying Axe build will grant you more glancing and self healing in mob heavy missions.
Most of raid has less than 4 minions at the same time, and not pile up at the same space, which is significantly make Storm Flying Axe less attractive.Frost Cross on the other hand, provide stable damage reduction, unless you got unlucky and not trigger glancing often, then you need (6)
Key Words
- Glancing Chance: if this is triggered will add +25% damage reduction.
Glancing Effect: if Glancing were triggered this value will deduct even more damage from the attack
Resilience: this will ignore boss crit. hit on you and trigger Glancing immediately. - Physical Def or PDef: at 3626 grants you 53.5% base damage reduction,at 5795 grants you 64.8 % base damage reduction.
- Focus: the more you have, the more PDef for base reduction.
- Damage Immunity rate (DIR): final damage deduction.
Calculations
If boss skill hit you with 100K:
- Triggering Glancing (-25% damage) > 75k.
- Continue deduction on Glancing Effect(38.5+11=49.5%) >37.875k.
- Continue deduction on Damage Immunity Rate(DIR) (15.6) >31.966k.
- If using (1)-(2.2)-(3) to build up DIR (45.6%(with base PDef66.3%)) > 20.604k.
- If +(5) (DIR 81.67) > 6.94k.
Without triggering Glancing you will lose (25%, 49.5%) deduction which is quite fatal
Q&A
How to improve Glancing chance?
- Gear.
- Storm flying axe can maximize your glancing chance up to 100% with (6).
- Echo of destiny buff (improve Glancing chance by 12.5%).
How to improve Glancing effect?
Inscribed stone Tree and Core I and Core II node.
How to Improve DIR?
Always cast (3) after (2) and stack up (1) to always at 3 stack, use (5) when thing goes south.

Skill Rotations
- 1 1 2 3 1 2 1 is the usual go-to attack. when the boss does not hit you first. so you can have time to build your (1) and (3) PDef up.
- If boss hit you first or with range damage (Gemini, Synthesis Doctor, Camp Carlyan 2nd boss) and that hit make you lose too much hp (hp <30-55%).
- Use 5 1 1 3 1 2 1 2 3 instead.
- If you never trigger Glancing on certain boss, skill use (6).
- If you have Aptitude for (1) and (3) you can either do 1 3 for quickly raise up PDef but stick to original 1 1 2 3 1 2 1 2 3 is good enough.

Inscribed Stone & Runes
With only 1 enemy you can change Steelbone to other useful rune(library 1and 2 boss, camp Carlyan bosses, merfolk swamp 2nd boss, forest altar second boss), even Tribal Ode is fine. It needs more than 1 enemy in 10 m. Anything that has a red health bar counts.
As for Reversal and Potential you need to see if your barbarian ever got Hp lower than 35% or not so you can use that rune to benefit almost 80-90% of the battle time.

Gameplay Tips
Interrupt
Some skill can not be interrupt will show with gray cast bar.
Some skill can be interrupt will show with Blue cast bar.
Dungeons
Library of Chaos
- Pre 1st boss: not much thing to concern, just do AOE taunt on a big group of enemies.
- 1st boss: beware of your feet, demon trap can be deadly if boss do demon grip and make you stand on poison tile, you will set a dead trap for your team, so move away if you have been targeted you need more mobility so that’s why leap come to play.
- 2nd boss: manoeuvring training: Try to make the boss face empty ground, not your teammates. Your priority is to prevent the boss’s AoE attack from hitting anyone; it will always come after the prison, so watch out. It’s okay to pick up nearby big orbs if the boss’s AoE skill has already been cast, so run around and back to center position to be safe. Boss will raise both hand up to the sky and cast Element Fusion dealing massive DPS to whole team, so ask your healer for damage reduction (boss will use this skill when hp falls below 99% 66 % 33% so be prepare).
- 3rd boss: keep a single taunt on the boss. After annihilation (in the dark realm), use (4) to kite monsters and use a single taunt to pull any minions that are too far from you. After the 2nd Void Elite, there will be a lot of minions spawning; use AoE taunt when necessary (almost when the realm is closing). If anyone hits a minion before you do, it will run straight to the healer.
Camp Carlyan
- Pre first boss: kill and decelerate the white-haired lady first; it will save you a lot of trouble.
- 1st boss: manoeuvring training again: Hit the switch if it’s red. (Green gives you a bomb, so don’t switch; pick the bomb up and throw it at him.) The rest is just dodging the attack.
- Pre 2nd boss: Kill the buffed guy first to get rid of slavers.
- 2nd boss: fire support will target static ground AoE, so keep moving. If anyone is targeted with a movable orange circle, move to the center of the flame trap device to deactivate the trap. As soon as the crate falls down, the tank must taunt the boss and immediately face away from party members to lure out the sniper rifle attack. The rest is up to the DPS to destroy the crate.
- Pre 3rd boss: kill the buffed guy first to get rid of slavers
- 3rd boss: keep your shield up, and you should be fine. Double Thrust is the most damaging skill, so be prepared. Note that the poison dart will always hit the furthest member from the boss, so after the second poison dart, the boss will use Blade Dash, which also targets the furthest member. If your teammates are struggling with that, leap away as far as you can to tank the boss’s damage. The rest is just running to avoid the red boomerang and taunting the boss as soon as the red boomerang is gone.
Merfolk Swamp
- Pre first boss: just bait monster or use interrupt if you dps become too wololo.
- 1st boss: actually, this is where Storm Flying Axe shines the most, especially when the boss is below 20% HP—it will summon tons of minions. Don’t forget to use Slam to interrupt.
- Pre 2nd boss: please don’t fight in the mushroom field. Bait them to clear space in the middle or by the end of the path before the boss.
- 2nd boss: dodge and pull the boss out, if he stands on the poison ground.
- 3rd boss: the boss will cast an AoE attack “Sweep”, so position yourself at the gate and let the boss swing that attack out. The boss will call 2 minions with summon support, so you can use Leap or Flying Axe to slow them down. Let DPS handle the bubbles and minions.
Forest Altar
- Pre first boss: just bait monsters and AoE taunt.
- 1st Boss: not much to do—just avoid damage and run around to share the damage. The boss will summon bees to collect flower dew! You need to kill the bee only when it has a ‘sword’ icon on it; otherwise, your whole team will take lethal damage from the boss.
- Pre 2nd boss: just bait monsters and AoE taunt.
- 2nd boss: position yourself to face out at the marked location so the boss’s AoE won’t hit the pole devices.
- 3rd boss: dodge all damage, when the boss uses “gale”, press when the boss cast bar is less than 1 sec.
Botanical Garden
1st boss: position yourself away from teammates and walk around to the boss’s back when he performs an AoE attack. You can also slow down minions, especially the Mushroom Pig. Please beware of a Thorny humanoid since it will set a Thorn Scatter at you. Anyone who got this should move away from other teammates or you might end up getting wiped out.Slime on the other hand, if left too long Can deal destructive damage to the whole team, so kindly ask dps to kill it first. Anyone who has been target with orange zone on your feet, run into spawning minion to significantly lower its hp(this skill deal fixed 50-85%hp damage no matter how high your PDef is, so don’t waste any (5),(6) skill on this).
- 2nd boss: red wave is easy, just clear out the enemy. On Green wave, there will be a spider following one member (except the tank) and will do a one-hit KO to that member. You can help slow down the spider with Leap. Last wave, There are two monsters you need to interrupt, the humanoid and experiment 55 so be prepared after the green wave. Other than that, you can use AoE taunt to pull minions.
- 3rd boss: always use taunt when available. Pull the boss away from the middle ‘a bit’ to make the DPS’s job easier when selecting the durian bomb node in the middle. Try to remember the boss’s skills and always run to the edge if the skill called ‘Thorn Outbreak’ is used. Take note That durian bomb has 1.5 sec delay so as soon as The red zone gone Do not walk out just yet wait till you see bursting effect Then you will be safe to walk around.
Raids
Merfolk King
- 1st tank: Your job is to keep the boss busy and bait him towards the shaman (the second summon support).
- 2nd tank: Your job is to pull adds to the center or away, depending on your teammates’ DPS. You can use (4) as well, but don’t use Contempt when near the boss. Use Leap to slow minions down if necessary.
Deep sea hunter with red target line to the player can cause chaos during minions spawn let your dps take them out or walk around to buy them some time. Use (4) when walking, can do some damage to them.
Ancient Tree
You need to take turns taunting with the other tank. Try to evade the boss’s skills and don’t let the ray hit you too much, except when necessary. Use Leap to slow down mushrooms if everyone else is busy. Make sure to taunt Guardians that spawn after phase change and stay away if you get the pink pollen debuff. Lure Guardian to the other side that’s not dark, avoid dark ground at all cost, it will still deal damage to you even if the boss didn’t use his skill.
Synthesis Doctor
Take the blue potion from the bench, then taunt the boss toward the space between the red and blue potion benches. The sequence in the first phase will always be Red, Green, Blue. When it’s blue, you and the other tank should split to touch the blue orb. Use every skill you can to touch it quickly. note that it will have a bottle direction before orb appear,so you can have the idea of where to go.
In the second phase, after the blue core appears, one tank must pull the boss away so his spin attack won’t hit anyone. After that attack, the boss will summon a Chimera and put a debuff (armour break) on the closest tank. At this time, the other tank, who isn’t hit by the boss’s debuff, must taunt to lure the boss back to save the other tank’s life. After the Chimera dies, the boss will remove all your potions, so you need to take potions again before going to the middle and killing the big slime. The boss will drink all the potions from the bench and do an AoE attack again at the green bench, so make sure to stay underneath him. The rest is to do 101 maths: position yourself in the dome according to your potion colour and repeat the last blue orb if the DPS is too low.
Forest Gemini
The tank running marathon map, make sure to switch taunt when the game commands you. Don’t rely on your instincts or boss skill sequence. You need to interrupt from time to time, especially when the boss transforms, so any nearby tank must handle this job. Prioritize switching rather than interrupting, except if the other tank is too far away—then it’s up to you.
Try to place rocks in the middle. From a total Three rocks, the game will select a random one to explode, so after the rock falls, run away first because you can never know if it has a bomb in it. If only two rocks are left, you’re good. The boss can’t stay too close or they will become tanky, so you need to lure them apart. The wolf is easy to pull around; don’t panic when the wolf jumps—it will eventually walk back to you. Just stay calm and don’t taunt, as taunting could trigger a switch taunt session and cause problems.
ArchDruid
For competent dps mate who can Interrupt:
This if you dps mate is too wololo, let them die regretting their choice in the tree’s core below if they hit minion before you:
A tank has 5 main jobs to do:
- Never let Bear Claw hit anyone by positioning yourself away from the team. When the boss uses Summon Phantom (4 phantom souls), wait until the boss uses Bear Claw before rejoining your teammates in the green circle. If you’re close to the boss, there’s a high chance it won’t use Bear Claw, but don’t count on it. Don’t stand right in the middle of the green; leave some room in case the boss decides to use it, so your team can stand in a position where the skill won’t hit but still be in the green area.
- Never let the sapling touch the boss, so bait the boss around to avoid trouble.
- Never let the golem be in the same quarter as the boss. When the boss uses a skill to open a portal below, he will also turn that quarter of the ground he’s standing on into poison. Plan ahead to make things easier for your team. When the golem zone spawns, move the boss away from that quarter. The golem will always spawn on the furthest member after Summon Phantom Blast, so you can ask veteran players to make your job a bit easier. Let DPS deal with the golem and kill it first if it spawns.
- Always save up taunt after”Summon Phantom” Blast) for the fat golem down below. You must be the first to enter and taunt it, and quickly hit it with any skill to keep your team safe. Use AoE attack/taunt on little minions spawn after golem dies to assist your team and pull away agro.
- After the second phase, do as before, but now keep the boss at the center or 1/4 away from the center so the boss’s AoE won’t hit anyone. Bait the boss and sacrifice yourself if necessary for points 1 and 2 above.
SpiderQueen
For competent dps mate who can Interrupt:
This if you dps mate is too wololo, let them die regretting their choice after crossing the first web bridge if they hit minion before you:
Position is the key!
We have six rules:
- Don’t use Body Touch on white eggs unless absolutely necessary; use the boss’s skill instead. It will use “Mourning Claw” after “Venom Surge” is placed on the ground.
- Be the first to arrive on the other side.
- Always taunt every spider from the egg that you didn’t hit.
- Always taunt the boss after crossing the web bridge, using either single or AoE taunt.
- Remember the colour job: after the clone goes up to the ceiling and 2 chubby spiders spawn, if you are green, always stay in the middle; if you are purple, stay away from the middle.
- After the last phase, the 2 mechanics will mix. So, after the chubby spiders spawn, stay in the middle until you get pushed, then stay away from the middle until the web goes away.
That’s all for the rules. Now, back to basics:
There will be 2 tanks: one focusing on baiting the boss and the other on touching and opening eggs. The egg tank needs to be very careful. You can’t just touch it alone; you need to hit or taunt it according to rule 3 to save all your team members. Please remember that.
“Shadow Howl”: The boss will teleport to the middle of the zone and then unleash a dark purple AoE skill. After doing so, the boss will come to hit you and then use Expel to push you off. As soon as “Shadow Howl” is cast, position yourself by the edge and let teammates gather at the back of the boss to keep everyone safe. Be sure to join them at the back of the boss after you saw “expel” being cast.
During the last phase, take caution, if not colour play session, do not be in the middle too much, you can get careless and the devour egg can take you down.
Blight Dragon
Run or Lazy tank is your team choice!
Run: place markers for queue up at first beacon (tank and healer run back to taunt).
Lazy Tank: place markers for queue up behind 3rd beacon (you will just chill at the other side after WindFire).
We have five things to do:
- Locate your position, this is where you will tank, you can see a little bit of mesh clipping here.
- Tanks need to stay close together(less than 5 m) to absorb the boss’s damage. If anyone else is close by, the damage will be dealt to that person instead of the tanks. Kindly ask everyone else to stay away from the tanking area.
- Incinerate + boss attack can be deadly if you are not synchronized with the other tank, so have one tank take the lead.Don’t forget to queue up after breaking the first prison and pyro. positioning tank That is on boss attack on the edge of the queue followed by a second tank, then healers and dps melee and range.
- After the second WindFire, what you need to look for is Leaping Flame. Tanks must take turns handling the small falling meteors (total of 3). They will always spawn near the tank (<15m) and can sometimes be under the boss’s claws or lava. So, get your (5), (6), or +(7 IS) and take the hit; otherwise, everyone will end up with lethal damage or casualties.
- After the second Wrath of Nidhoggr (yellow beam), make sure to stay behind the boss for the last WindFire pushes. From now on, there will be a lot going on at the same time: both Immolation and Elemental Ashes, followed by Leaping Flame and Flaming Bomb later. If your team’s DPS is not enough at this stage (<10% boss HP), hold on a bit longer and gather up your (5) and (6) when the boss is flying up and raining down fireballs. Your friends will need an extra 30-45 seconds. Just try to stay alive.
