Quick Guide to Anomaly (and Non-Anomaly)

Anomalies

• Watch out for the son’s leg twitching.
• When you see a cabin model in the living room, avoid the ghost by going around the table to escape.
• The cellar door is open a bit. The daughter will close it when you go downstairs.
• If the daughter blocks your way out, go to the cellar. You’ll get stuck in the bathroom, but you can escape by making the mother chase you around.
• Look for a hand under the bed downstairs.
• The toys in the house will move and follow you.
• The father’s portrait will turn to look at you as you move.
• Watch out – the mother will appear by the empty painting and chase you to the front door.
• There’s a mug on the dining table that moves by itself.
• The father will walk past the window and chase you when you leave through the front door. Run across the factory.
• When you come downstairs, the son will be gone but then appear in the rocking chair and attack.
• Be careful – when you go downstairs the daughter will laugh and chase you to the front door.
• When you first enter, you’ll see something being dragged around the corner.
• The mother in the painting will turn her head to watch you.
• When you see the cabin on fire as you come downstairs, leave and follow the path through the field to find another door.
• There’s a copy of you behind the right support beam in the living room.
• There’s another copy of you on the right side of the dining table.
• The father throws pots at you.
• The frog toy upstairs grows larger.
• When the phone rings, the mother and father will appear suddenly. Get out quickly.
• When you find the cabin model upstairs, avoid all the ghosts and leave.
• The remote control floats in the air upstairs.
• The mother vanishes from her painting and shows up outside the cabin. This version can get you an achievement.
• The son is watching TV and will turn to look at you with a creepy smile.
• The father’s eyes follow you around.
• The father appears outside the back right window, which breaks when you get close.

Non-Anomalies

• There’s a radio talking about a cabin fire.
• The daughter is hiding under the stairs.

• Everything in the cabin is turned upside down.

• You can see the dad through the window, but he’s just standing there.

• The cabin has stuffed animals that stay put when you go upstairs.

• The daughter is hanging upside down over the stairs.

• The mom isn’t in her wall picture anymore – she’s at the table, and the kids are under the stairs.

• The whole family is standing together smiling.

• The son is watching TV without moving.

• The mom is smiling in her picture on the wall.
