Throne and Liberty – Quick Levelling Guide

Levelling Guide

  • At the end of the day the max exp you need is the same regardless of how you get there, you can do more/alternate items for the exploration, these are just what the guide listed as recommended/having completed.
  • Interract with all region stones first time for tp & exploration unlocks.
  • Use initial contract coins for upgrade mats.
  • Buy lots of world tree leafs when you can afford them, you WILL need them.
  • Always max the lower tier of your gear before transferring to save important mats.
  • Always be gathering, early on going just past vienta village if other locations are too crowded can be good.
  • Save as many contracts as possible for the level 49-50 grind to get the most out of your contracts, some can be used at the lvl 44 bottleneck if necessary.
  • Always always always do events when they are up.
  • If we get free currency be sure to get the levelling track & battlepass.
  • Anytime you must grind contracts (early for the MSQ, during the 44 gap, or during the 49 gap) prioritize kill quest contracts with upgrade mats as rewards.

Levels: 29-34

  • Any taedal’s tower floors unlocked up to this point, by lvl 28 you should have access all the way to the 8th/9th floor but don’t push too far if you are failing
  • Run the second group dungeon, roaring temple, with static (The skillbook/sollant quest rewards may be bugged in our version, but exp should still work)
  • Sandworm Lair ALL exploration codex: Monster’s researchers request will only have the 1st step available day 1 (Stoneguard – Sandworm Lair)
  • Sandworm Lair: Then do voice behind the mask this leads to a jumping puzzle starting from the right the pattern is 2-3-2-2-1-3-1-2 (img 1), after use the exploding scarabs to break the scorpions shield (Stoneguard – Sandworm Lair)
  • Sandworm Lair: Then do stronger sandworm, this can be done solo but a party is recommended (Stoneguard – Sandworm Lair)
  • Next head to daybreak shore and do ANY of the exploration codex to bridge the remainder of the gap to lvl 34 (Note: You can do all of the codex here if you’d like as you will need to later anyways, party recommended if doing early) (Stoneguard – Daybreak Shore)

Levels: 34-40

Purple continues until the next bottleneck around lvl 37.

  • Raging Wilds ALL exploration codex (Stoneguard – Raging Wilds).
  • Mana Waste ALL exploration codex, check pictures in written guide if unsure where to go (shoulda played KR) (Stoneguard – Mana Waste).

Levels: 40-45

Purple continues until the next bottleneck around lvl 43.

  • Akidu Valley ALL exploration codex (Stoneguard – Akidu Valley)
  • At this point around lvl 44 we run into a massive bottleneck. Guide indicates that no more exploration quests are worth doing and gives a handful of options:
  • The fastest way to bridge this gap is to run sanctuary oasis (these are much easier with a party), however, it is recommended to save as many contracts for lvl 49 as possible to get the most gains from them in the lvl 50 zones
  • Note: The written guide has location images for contract locations including the easiest ones to do if you are solo
  • You can run dungeons with a party and get bonus exp for opening the chest at the end (the lvl 40 dungeon gives about 14k exp on last boss)
  • Grind Sileus/Sylaveth open world dungeons w/ exploration quests
  • You can complete any part of taedal that you haven’t done yet (this won’t be enough exp on its own but it will help, if only a little
  • Go on a resource harvesting grind

Levels: 45-49

Purple continues until the next bottleneck around ~70% through lvl 48.

  • Grayclaw Forest ALL exploration codex (Stoneguard – Raging Wilds).
  • Fonos Basin ALL exploration codex (Stoneguard – Raging Wilds).
  • You can STOP doing these once you hit level 49.

Levels: 49-50

We end our levelling grind with lvl 50 contracts at either Watchers Post or Purelight Tower.

General Tips

  • It is recommended to do contracts at Purelight Tower (at 50)
  • Rushing your weapon first is recommended (to a degree) to level 9. Pick only weapon growthstone contracts when possible (and purple bag) (pick 1 contract, refresh page, repeat)
  • Already know what traits you want on what slots and what gear in what slots beforehand.
  • Already know what skills you will be slotting
  • If you are mage, try to play / farm wet areas. Archers upwind
  • Use all your growthstones possible for current tier before rolling up. Common weapon leveled up to 3, blue to 9, before transferring them up tiers
  • Press H to collect rewards often, and f10 collect rewards often.
  • The mystery books only give you cosmetic rewards so you can skip them.
  • Do side quests that are convenient and farm mobs on the way if its easy
  • Show up to all level relevant events when possible. You will ‘need’ those rewards.
  • Join guild when you can (likely around lvl 8-9), and contribute for rewards.

I appreciate your time and hope this little tutorial was helpful.
