Character upgrades consist of enhance and promotion.

Enhance

Requires EXP books and gold.

Both EXP books and gold can be obtained from the “Material Instances” experience and gold stages.

Promotion

After reaching a limited level, characters need to promote to increase their level cap.

Early promotion requires Promotion Crystals and corresponding Promotion Stone for the characters.

Promotion Crystals and Promotion Stone can be obtained from the “Material Instances” Promotion Crystal stages and Skill stages.

Later promotion will also require consuming Crimson Crystals.

Crimson Crystals

Crimson Crystals are primarily obtained through gameplay modes like “Chain Campaign” and “Conquest Battle”.

Character Star Upgrade

When a character is obtained multiple times, you will receive Character Crystals, which can be used for star upgrades.

Character star upgrades are the most crucial part of enhancing a character’s abilities. Each star level increases the character’s various attributes, and reaching specific star levels unlocks additional abilities, making the character stronger.

Once a character reaches the maximum of 6 stars, their active skill effects can also be enhanced through star upgrades.
