Tokyo Ghoul: Break the Chains – Useful Tips and Tricks

Tips and Tricks

General

Team Composition and Level Selection

Try to build a team with higher level characters if possible. For example, characters like Ken Kaneki (Awakened) and Juzo Suzuya (CCG Maverick) are considered the best in terms of combat effectiveness. Focusing on a balanced mix of offensive, defensive, and support skills can increase the team’s resilience.

Efficient Resource Management

The game rewards players with various resources such as gold, crystals, and character upgrade items. Try to exchange active game codes early on for bonus rewards such as diamonds and special items that can speed up character development.

Mastering Skill Combos

Timing and order are key in battles. Combining identical cards allows for more powerful skill executions, so plan your moves to maximize damage and cc. Use character synergy to unleash more complex combos during tougher fights.

Stay Up to Date with Events

Frequent events and daily logins provide exclusive rewards. So it’s worth taking part in them.

Walkthrough

Firstly, you should keep all your Limit & Bond Materials to upgrade one character at a time.

  • Example: Keep using your Bond Tablet on Kaneki until you need Premium Bond Tablets, then you could use your Normal Bond Tablets on another character.

Level up your 5 main characters & 5 SR to use them as assist characters since you can get dupes easily & one 5* SR gives more stats than an SSR character without dupes or with a couple of dupes.

Don’t forget to use your daily swipe on Conquest Boss, as it’s the mode that gives you the most Crimson Crystals.

To get the most points in Juzo’s Organization Weekly Challenges, you should make a fight that lasts all 5 rounds & prioritize using Kaneki’s 1* skills, starting round 4, start using toka skill & kill Juzo round 5 (i made 115k pts).

For Kaneki Kakuja Conquest Battle Abyss, focus on the legs, it’ll be much easier if you take them down first.

Not everyone might know this, but Weekly Boss Damage Rewards are a daily thing, so don’t forget to do it daily, it doesn’t cost any stamina.

Take Noro in the PvP exchange shop & Kuroiwa in the Organization shop since they’re both exclusive to those shops.

In PvP, don’t place your best character in the first spot, place him in the 4th spot to increase the chance of landing a 2* skill in the first round & use the Co-op Ultimate Skill.

Lastly a spending guide: Here’s a recommended order of best packs to buy. If you want to spend on a low budget, start with the first one:
