TouhouGensoumarokuW – The Devil of Decline – How to Obtain Weapon Skill and Get Item Drops

Shikigami Tickets

Shikigami Tickets are very rare items in the game. You can only get two of them by playing the game normally. Making them yourself needs other rare items. To get a Shikigami Ticket, you have to beat Suika & Yuugi at the stairs going down in the 3rd area. The stairs are found on the Makai 2 map. You can only fight them after beating the 3 tower bosses and unlocking the final dungeon. You can get a second Shikigami Ticket by beating the boss in the Mine area in the 4th area. You unlock this area after finishing the main game. Later on, you can make your own Shikigami Tickets, but you need a lot of rare items from the end of the game.

Using Shikigami Tickets

If you have a Shikigami Ticket, you can talk to Backbeard and fight a monster you’ve beaten before that you can add to your team. If you lose, run away, or don’t add the monster to your team after winning, you’ll get your ticket back. If you add the monster to your team, you won’t get the ticket back. Winning the fight doesn’t give you experience, but you can get items the monster drops and train your weapon skills.

How to Grind

The best monster to train your skills on is the Metal Yukkuri. It seems like the monster’s level affects how fast your weapon skills improve, and the Metal Yukkuri is level 100. Keep attacking it to train your weapon skills. If you beat it, it might drop its item. If the Metal Yukkuri tries to join your team, say no so you can keep your ticket and keep training. You can also use this to get item drops from other monsters you can add to your team. Once you have extra items to make tickets, you can use this to try to add hard-to-get monsters to your team.

Avoid Losing Your Ticket

Shikigami Tickets are very rare, and you won’t have many until you beat the extra content after the main game. Even then, you need rare items to make them. If you add a monster to your team in this fight, you’ll lose your ticket. If you beat a monster you already have on your team, you’ll also lose your ticket. If you accidentally start a fight with a monster already on your team, you can run away to get your ticket back.
