Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks – How to Deal with Shokkjump Dragsta (Deliver the Bomb Gamemode)

Tips on How to Counter the Shokkjump Dragsta in the Deliver the Bomb Gamemode

There are several ways to do it.

The first would be to get into a Dragsta yourself and out-drive him. If you’re on his right and slightly behind he can’t really do anything to avoid dying to you besides pausing his bomb run to turn and duel you. He’d have to drive his ass off weaving between obstacles and extending his runtime, making himself more vulnerable to dying to other things. Just harrying the bomber in something like a Dragsta is a huge way to slow their roll.

You could also play vehicles with really strong chase, like the Wartrike whose entire life purpose is to catch bomb runners. Grapple onto them then let go of the controls and slowly coast to a stop to maximize the slowdown (if you hard brake the rope will snap too quickly, and if you go faster than them it doesn’t do anything besides help you catch up). Stopping a bomb runner dead when the Stompa is shooting them (especially the Draggsta, thing is made of tinfoil) is a great way to play the trike.

As mentioned, the GMT is basically a Goalie. You’re purpose in life to use your front ramp to boop the runner away, then boost up to them and slam it down as they land to spin them out and buy massive time- you can also use your W I D E body to physically block them, but be wary of this because certain vehicles can make use of ramps to hop over you and one of them can hit a button and literally jump over you (which requires either other people to help or the GMT to be more forward and aggressive, forcing them to jump early or at a bad time and thus making their lives difficult).

Loot wagon is great damage at great range, but that’s all it is. Its good to have, but unless you have all the time in the world to land like 4 consecutive shots you’ll never delete a bomb runner by yourself.
