Skill Analysis

Core Mechanic: Normal Attack

Lumi switches between Yellow Light and Red Light attack modes via her Resonance or Enhanced Resonance Skills.

  • Yellow Light: Summons Squeakie for triple ranged shots. A quick dodge enters an accelerated state, significantly increasing movement speed. This mode auto-attacks but cannot evade enemy attacks, ideal for Overworld exploration.
  • Red Light: Performs up to three consecutive melee attacks.
  • Heavy Attack: Unavailable in [Yellow Light] mode. In [Red Light] mode, consumes STA to deal DMG.
  • Mid-air Attack: Consumes STA for aerial Plunging Attack, the same in both modes.
  • Dodge Counter: Unavailable in [Yellow Light] mode. In [Red Light] mode, successful dodges deal DMG.
  • Branch: Crit. Rate Bonus. Crit. Rate Bonus.

Core Mechanic: Forte Circuit

Both Yellow and Red Light modes can trigger Enhanced Resonance Skills when their Forte Circuit is full. This switches to the opposite mode while dealing DMG, counted as Basic Attack DMG.

  • Red Spotlight: Increases Basic/Heavy ATK multipliers and boosts Forte Gauge regeneration. Exits after 4 attacks.
  • Yellow Spotlight: Replaces [Glitter] with [Glare], enhancing auto-attack DMG multipliers. Exits after 6 attacks.
  • Forte Gauge Recovery: Use Basic Attacks in the corresponding mode to replenish Forte Gauge.
  • Branch: Increases Electro DMG in Red Light mode and boosts ATK when casting Enhanced Resonance Skills.

Resonance Skill

  • Switches between Yellow and Red Light modes. The skill uses STA to deal DMG and performs a Pounce/Rebound during mode changes.
  • Branch: ATK Bonus. ATK Bonus.

Resonance Liberation

  • Deals Electro DMG.
  • Branch: ATK Bonus. ATK Bonus.

Intro Skill

  • Switches to Yellow Light mode while dealing DMG.
  • Branch: Crit. Rate Bonus. Crit. Rate Bonus.

Outro Skill

Resonance Chain Overview

Conclusion

Key Resonance Chains are S1, S2, S4, and S6. S1: Reduces STA pressure in Yellow Light mode. S2: Enhances Resonance Skills with DEF penetration, directly increasing DMG. S4: Boosts Basic Attack DMG. S6: Provides team-wide ATK boosts, increasing support potential.

Weapon Choices

5-Star Option: Lustrous Razor

Analysis: A 5-star pick for Lumi, offering high base ATK and significant boosts to DMG, Energy Regen, and Resonance Liberation DMG.

4-Star BIS: Autumntrace

Analysis: The best 4-star weapon from Pioneer Podcast, offering Crit. Rate for easier stat optimization. Increases ATK during Basic/Heavy Attacks, synergizing well with Lumi’s high Basic Attack reliance.

4-Star Option: Disсord

Analysis: Best 4-star option for sub-DPS/Support. Significantly boosts Energy Regen, restores Concerto Energy after casting Resonance Skills, shortens Lumi’s on-field time when used as a sub-DPS/Support.

3-Star Transition: Guardian Broadblade

Analysis: A solid 3-star option for early game. Boosts Basic/Heavy Attack DMG. Lumi relies on Basic Attacks to deal DMG. Enhanced Resonance Skill DMG counts as Basic Attack, effectively improving Lumi’s output.

Echo Choice

DPS Set Choice

Lumi has ideal built-in DPS potential with skill branch providing Crit. Rate/ATK. [Void Thunder] can be chosen as Echo set to boost Electro DMG.

Sub-DPS/Support Set Choice

Lumi’s Outro Skill enhances the Resonance Skill DMG of the next character. She fits as a Sub-DPS/Support role, with [Moonlit Clouds] being an ideal Echo set to increase Energy Regen and ATK for the next character.

Stats Choice

  • COST 4: Crit. Rate/Crit. DMG
  • COST 3: Electro DMG Bonus
  • COST 1: ATK
  • Substats: Crit. Rate/Crit. DMG > ATK% > Basic Attack DMG Bonus > Energy Regen > Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus

Stat Analysis

  • COST4: Ensure at least 65% Crit. Rate, then focus on Crit. DMG.
  • COST3: Prioritize Electro DMG Bonus to maximize Electro output.
  • COST1: Invest all points in ATK for better DPS.

Endgame Stats Analysis

Lumi relies on ATK-based Electro DMG, with Basic Attacks and Resonance Liberation as her key sources. Core stats are ATK, Crit. Rate, Crit. DMG, and Electro DMG Bonus. Secondary stats include Basic Attack Bonus, Energy Regen, and Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus.

Let break it down with 1-rank Lustrous Razor

  • ATK: 2000+. Base ATK (Level 90): 338 + 587 (Level 90 weapon) = 925 (base ATK) + 925 * 12% (skill branch) + 925 * 18% * 2 (max level Gold COST1) + 150 (max level Gold COST4) + 100 * 2 (max level Gold COST3) ≈ 2055. This is easy to achieve.
  • Crit. Rate: 65%. Starting at 5% (base) + 8% (skill branch). Adding Crit. Rate with COST4 gives 22%, reaching 35%. For a target of around 65%, additional 30% Crit. Rate from Echo substats may be needed, especially if COST4 is not focused on Crit. Rate.
  • Crit. DMG: 210%. With a base of 150%, equipping Crit. DMG through COST4 + 44% to reach 194%. With Echo substats, aim for 194%+.
  • Electro DMG Bonus: 70%. 10% from [Void Thunder] set + 30% * 2 from max level Gold COST3 = 70%. Red Light mode gives an extra 10% (skill branch).

General Rotation

  1. Lumi enters with Intro Skill, starting in Yellow Light mode with full Yellow Light energy.
  2. Activate Enhanced Resonance Skill for DMG and switch to Red Light mode.
  3. While benefiting from the Electro DMG Bonus in Red Light mode, use Resonance Liberation.
  4. Perform Basic/Heavy Attacks to fill Red Light energy, then use Enhanced Resonance Skill to switch back to Yellow Light mode.
  5. In Yellow Light mode, dash away to trigger Squeakie’s special attack (lock onto enemies for better aim). Fill Yellow Light energy, then repeat the Enhanced Resonance Skill to return to Red Light mode. Repeat until Concerto Energy is full, then switch characters.

Tip: Use Enhanced Resonance Skill only when Forte Gauge is full. Regular Resonance Skills have lower multipliers, consume STA, and do not activate the Yellow/Red Spotlight modes, resulting in low returns.

Team Comp

Lumi’s Electro element and Outro Skill enhance the Resonance Skill DMG of the next character. She can serve as either a Main DPS or Sub-DPS.

Main DPS Team

Lumi’s Basic Attacks contribute significantly to her DMG. Pair her with characters that boost Basic Attack Bonus.

Sub DPS Team

As a sub-DPS, Lumi supports characters who rely on Resonance Skills for their primary DMG output. However, Lumi’s slower Concerto Energy rate can make her gameplay more complex, with a steeper learning curve.
